A terrific 1er showing old vines sap and intensity, a blast of elegant red fruit yet no lack of structure, ripe tannins and driving intensity on the finish that displays excellent length. Borderline grand cru quality here though be aware that this is starting to close up and will certainly need time to show its best stuff.
