Tightly-knit, with a Meursault-Perrieres or Chevalier-Montrachet-like minerality, the 2003 Chardonnay Reuling Vineyard reveals a greenish hue to its gold color as well as a youthful, backward style exhibiting a liqueur of stones-like characteristics, vibrant acidity, and hints of lemon oil and orange blossoms. Its wealth of fruit and layers of concentration are backed up by splendid acidity. The most backward Chardonnay in this portfolio, it will drink well for 5-10 years.
